Vargas has been pretty awesome since he's came up this season. Small sample but very encouraging. 

 

I watch him hit and I'm not sure how he can fail.

Right. His improvements are very easily noticeable since his stint last season.

He's swinging at less pitches outside, while also making more contact with pitches outside. Swinging less as well as swinging and missing less. Contact rate is up too.
