Ugh. I new it was a matter of time before someone mentioned the Orioles comparison. This season has been depressing.

The 1988 Orioles had two HOFers in their prime plus a catcher and CF who made multiple AS games.

 

Logic says the Twins will almost certainly get to 22 as they aren't as good.

Games 19,20 & 21 was a series sweep by the Mn Twins!

 

I feel like this is some terrible Groundhog Day rerun and  I've been watching the same exact game for 8 of the last 9 games...decent pitching (enough to win the game)...but the Twins side of the inning is usually short & uneventful.
