There is always a chance that in a few years they will bring him back as a veteran club house presence -- so there might still be some good times down the road.

It might be awhile, I think like the HOF there is a waiting period? 5 years? (Or until you can't find another team, whichever comes first)

I just hope he's instructing based on the 2002-2003 LaTroy Hawkins and not the 1995-2001 LaTroy Hawkins.

Give or take a few days. But i wasn't actually sure it was my shadow. It could be somebody else's... I wonder if they want it back? Oh, and what's this new sheriff's take on double negativity? Anyway, good to hear fromy'all!
Paul Pleiss Verified Member Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 You want the law? I AM THE LAW! And if I want to rag on Joe Mauer, or more appropriately Eduardo Nunez and his inclusion on this roster, I should be able to do so, even with a somewhat limited factual case. As long as I don't use the "he's making $23 mil argument" I think we're okay. Can you imagine the outrage if Joe Mauer hadn't signed his extension and had then left during free agency? I don't know what I would have, could have done in that scenario.
