4:  Over/Under the number of collisions at the OF if Buxton is surrounded by Sano and Arcia?

Who has Arcia collided with in the outfield so far?  I'm not recalling any events but I recognize that doesn't mean there weren't any.  And what makes us so sure that Sano is going to be running into people?  Outfielders shy away from collisions a lot more often than they look for them.

Not them.  Buxton will be running into them.  They just would have a hard time getting away

I wasn't suggesting Lagares would replace Buxton long term or even be the CFer long term. He would be much more of a insurance policy can manage CF if buxton isn't ready and would provide insurance if Rosario falls on his face. He would be a guy you buy low on and hope you could turn him next offseason.

Lagares is signed long-term, though -- 4 years, $22.5 mil remaining.  I am not sure why you would want to risk that much money on a buy low, temporary/insurance CF.

The money is not that big--$2.5 this year, escalating to $9M in 2019--but he isn't playing for pre-arb wages. If it wouldn't cost talent to acquire him, it would be a pretty good fit, but I'm sure the Mets would like someone who would help them next year.

I say 2. You have to allow for mistakes, but Sano and Arcia are more or less stationary so Byron shouldn't have too much trouble avoiding them.

.208/.255/.396 for September.  That's borderline Buterrible.   Would love to know what you think "bad" is ;)

First of all .227/.261/.432 in September. You maybe included October?

Also, last 20 games: .273/.314/.515/.829.  That's a small sample but so is extending it to all of September. Months are just as arbitrary. Buxton started playing better end of the season. That may or may not carry over but the other dude is right and you are wrong.
