Luckily because of the internet, he'll always be remembered with the millions of Wonka condescending memes out there.

Jenny Diski passed away in April at 68

Bob Ellis passed away in April at 73

 

I guess I should pay better attention. I usually only check at the end of the year!

So, that made me go back and re-check my list as I took some folks out of my normal circle of news...

Who?    Guess I should've perused the lists a bit more than I did and made sure that all contained "celebrities."

The year of musicians continues... Leon Russell passes away at 74 years old. 

I'll need to look into what kind of music he wrote and played. 

The Master of Space and Time. This is a shame. 

 

Look no further than Mad Dogs and Englishmen. His honkytonk cover of Girl from the North Country ought to get you started.
