Long time, no posts. Hope you've all been enjoying this run by the Twins. It's been fun.

I think I just ran out of things to say although I did lurk around a bit.

Hicks on 1st. No outs. Let's do some scoring here.

Seeing Suzuki hit in to a double play, and the fact that the Twins started Chris Hermann last night in that lost double hitter game, is a painful reminder that the Twins had a chance to do something about the back up catcher spot, someone that could have done some filling in for Suzuk.

 

 

I think their problem was not addressing the STARTING catcher position not the backup catcher position :-)

I think I'd trade any of our young studs for Lindor. He looks to be a generational talent.

Lindor, Correa and Russell.  Could be the next ARod, Jeter, Nomar group in regards to overall talent.

They certainly could be.  The only one the Twins could have taken was Russell as well, he went 11th the year Buxton went #2.  I want to see what people have to say about Buxton this time next year, I really do think he will be special player.

My comment was in no way a slight on Buxton or the Twins selection of him, for the record.

I figured as much, just stating they were top picks.  I would love to have any of them.....and Buxton :D

Agreed, I think people tend to forget how Buxton's injuries have set him back some. If his recent performance is any sign what he might be capable of on a regular basis, look out.

Nope.  It ended last week on that ugly game where Detroit came back and scored 5 runs late.
