Gibby Provisional Member Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I agree, Bark is a game thread MVP.

formerly33 Verified Member Posted September 9, 2015 Author Posted September 9, 2015 After hearing Dan Gladden's most recent ad, I'm wondering what the Twins' station's rating is. You know ... "Looking for the best night's sleep of your life? [or something along that line] Look no further than my pillow." Hm, Danny ....
Gibby Provisional Member Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Crap, Dick just set Roy up to babble ad infinitum.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 And Mauer starts us off right. But don't get too comfortable at first base, Mr. Mauer (as a runner, that is)
Blake Verified Member Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Crap, Dick just set Roy up to babble ad infinitum.Could be worse, Orlando Hudson could be Dick's broadcast partner.
Whammy Verified Member Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I'm going to set up a 2nd account and have the username "10 others"Then like a bunch of people's posts.Everyone will be so happy.

Gibby Provisional Member Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Could be worse, Orlando Hudson could be Dick's broadcast partner. That might be hilarious.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 The fact that the Twins are still in the playoff hunt speaks volumes as to how far they've come this season. But for me one of the biggest changes has been games like tonight. The past four seasons, when the Twins gave up four in the first, my usual thought process was a) how much longer will the starter be in the rotation, b] will he get knocked out in the second or the third, and c) will it be just a regular loss or a blowout? This year, it's 'let's see if they can bounce back and make a game of it'. And this season the answer has been 'yes' far more often than I've expected.
clank2000 Provisional Member Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 OMG Plouffe! This will be up there as one of the highest GIDP seasons ever.
David HK Verified Member Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Heh.... Poof grounded into a DP. And in other news.... FFS. Cripe, Vargas can ground into DPs. Why ain't he in that spot, and Poof down in the 6 or 7 hole where he belongs? F'in Molly. I had such hope this year for Non-Gardenhire. But my honeymoon with the Hall of Famer was over long ago.
howeda7 Verified Member Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I won't shed too many tears when Plouffe is traded in December...
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Crap, Dick just set Roy up to babble ad infinitum. It's like Gretzky to Jari Kurri, if Kurri missed the net by ten feet every time...
David HK Verified Member Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Cripe again. A blind monkey on a Sauza bender could throw darts at a lineup card and do better than this.

formerly33 Verified Member Posted September 9, 2015 Author Posted September 9, 2015 I haven't watched tennis for years, but ChiTown can't stop talking about it so I finally decided to check it out. I know nothing about Serena and Venus. Somebody help me out. Are they sisters? Which one's older? Forgive me for my ignorance ... I'm trying to correct that.
