Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 I'm looking forward to seeing Hicks lead off. (I know, I know, it's only because Dozier is getting a day of rest). Does anybody else think Plouffe is distracted waiting on this baby? I know he denies it but thinking you could get a call anytime has to be distracting. C'mon kid, tomorrow is a great day for a birthday. It may be.... But it's probably more distracting for his wife.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 The pace that Santana pitches it's going to be a miracle if I get to watch any of this game after work.
Kirby_waved_at_me Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Richards is pretty consistently hitting 95 / 96 with his fastball and dotting the corners... could be a long (short) day for the Twins hitters.
70charger Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 So we're getting no hit thus far. That's fun.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 I left work early... I can't remember the last time I did that. I'm sitting at home watching the Twins. It feels kinda weird.
James Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 So we're getting no hit thus far. That's fun.Quiet! You'll jinx it.... oh, wait...
James Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 I left work early... I can't remember the last time I did that.I'm sitting at home watching the Twins. It feels kinda weird.I wish I was sitting at home watching the game instead of goofing off at work and listening to the game on the radio.
Platoon Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Arcia instead of Sugar Shane would make the most sense... It's a well known fact that between HR Oswaldo strikes out too often.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Twins go down, 1-2-3, for the 3rd inning in a row. Angels go down, 1-2-3, for the 1st time. CBU: 0-0 after 3.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 I wish I was sitting at home watching the game instead of goofing off at work and listening to the game on the radio. You got the better strategy... Being at work and doing nothing is better then not being at work and doing something.
70charger Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Gamecast says Hicks lined out. Good contact?
Platoon Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 If this continues, and Trout and Albert do virtually nothing, and we still lose 3 games, that would be hard to explain.
James Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 You got the better strategy... Being at work and doing nothing is better then not being at work and doing something.I'm not doing nothing. I'm just doing the same work... just slower.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Garrett Richards is one of those pitchers who.... All of a sudden... Got good.
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Joyce just put a face print on the wall, heh.
70charger Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Hey! Mauer doubles! Good thing someone jinxed the no hitter.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Gamecast says Hicks lined out. Good contact? Yes, unfortunately Mike Trout is a good CF.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 I'm not doing nothing. I'm just doing the same work... just slower. You are doing it wrong. Always look like you are doing something without actually doing it.
James Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 You are doing it wrong. Always look like you are doing something without actually doing it.Sound career advise. I like it.
70charger Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 This whole scoring runs thing is pretty cool. I'm into it. We should do it more.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Plouffe with a 3-run HR - brings in Mauer & Sano.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Plouffe with a 3-run HR - brings in Mauer & Sano.That was a circus boy update.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Even Halsey liked that home run
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 3- RUN- http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20131119164522/simpsons/images/c/c5/Homer_simpsonwoohooo.gif
