Ok.. I'm out of gas

Goodnight all

Hope you get all gassed up tomorrow!

(i suppose that coulda come out a little better)

And sorry for apparently repeating everyone.

I wish i could say i was adding emphasis, but i didn't even accomplish that.

Oh well. When it snows, it drifts...

The Angels are just in a different league than the Twins.

Division perhaps?

Oh, i like Pelfrey's brush you back teeth level fastball.

Gotta keep 'em honest.

Hope it doesn't backfire one of these days though...

CBU 4-2 entering 6.

Angels brought in a triple that Hicks slipped as he got (close) to it. Woulda been a touch catch though.

Alright Twins, show me... a crooked number! Primes work, but i'm not opposed to composites.

A reviewed pick off gets the out.

Called a swing on a high fastball gets another.

Good recovery there by Mauer and we is out of the inning!

Now how do we awaken them slumberin' bats again?

Oh well.

No runs again.

At least there were base runners, so more batters get a whack at it in the 9th.

Hunter, it's mentorin' time. Or the fork, if you prefer.

Bottom of the 8, 5-2 Angels...

Bremmer was talking about how Molitor is letting the young players play, not reacting to their up's and down's, and it occurred to me that Paul Molitor is the closest any Minnesota team has had to another Bud Grant. He's a pro's pro with undeniable credentials in how to win, yet his demeanor during a contest is stoic and calm, no matter what happens. With a team composed more and more of volatile rookies and young pros trying to find their game, Molitor's calm professionalism is exactly what this team needs. It is easy to imagine this team adopting Molitor's attitude, and that will show up in wins.

The Angels are a good but not great team, the Twins are not as good, but are not far behind. A different league is pushing it a bit too far - Plouffe will be a super star!!!!!!!!!!! (Just thought I'd razz ya a bit.) :)

I actually am surprised at the negativity that has in some ways encompassed this season. To be honest it is a drag. For some reason, I thought there would be a thick amount of unity with the end result the Twins have given to this point.

I have enjoyed my time on this site, but miss the solidarity of taking it in myself and the occasional conversations I have with my non-website friends on the topic of Twins baseball, which are more subdued and a friend talking to a friend.

This site is great, but it will always be contentious, no matter if times are good or times are bad. I really believe, if the Twins won the World Series this year, negative posts would still be thick in the offseason and in spring training of the upcoming season.

When the Twins sucked it seemed like this was a better forum to be on - solidarity in hard times I would surmise. Now, It is disjointed and not so much fun as a winning team.

Too much BS... time to step away for a bit.

Plouffe... what the heck? A bunt? If you were bunting through the shift, I'd understand, but you hit it right to the pitcher!
