JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Author Posted July 23, 2015 Why am I not surprised to look at game day and see Big Mike given up a HR?
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Setting the precedent... If I do it once... Pretty soon... I'll keep doing it more and then I turn my bedroom into a storage closet but I'll be too lazy to put stuff in there as my living room fils up with TV dinner cartons and empty licorice bags... I also soon decide I'm not shaving any more... I'll get a couple of nose piercings.Baseball can be dangerous if you don't manage it correctly. You have seen me in person. Learn from my mistakes.

COtwin Provisional Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Seems like our guys (Hughes and Pelfrey specifically) make a lot of mistakes over the plate.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Black or red licorice?yes.

You lost me with the nose piercings though. Do sharp objects normally travel through you living room that otherwise you'd avoid? Alright... 1-0 on a solo dinger (after a double play, making it doubly meaningful) entering 3rd (CBU)
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Black or red licorice?Red if forced to choose at gunpoint. I've only had to choose licorice in that fashion twice. In non stress environment... I've found that I don't mind any color licorice. Even that crazy Australian Stuff.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 A .199 hitter. Now slightly higher. We could get back into this thing w/ 2 on...

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Black or red licorice?Red. Not even close. Too many jagermeister shots in college to ever go back to black licorice.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 I get to drive to Omaha with my wife, child, and Mother-in-Law in the morning.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Well done! Advancing the runners... without an out.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Well done! Advancing the runners... without an out. Even better. Dozier advances them yet again, in fact he plates 'em! 2-1 us.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Whew! I thought Dozier's career had ended there for a while.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Red. Not even close. Too many jagermeister shots in college to ever go back to black licorice. How about black barts? If you're a non smoker of course.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Author Posted July 23, 2015 For all you men of a certain age. Please remember that black licorice raises the blood pressure. The things you have to be careful about. Sigh.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 I get to drive to Omaha with my wife, child, and Mother-in-Law in the morning. Drive safely! No worries if ya don't make it to the end of the game then.
mickeymental Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Even better.Dozier advances them yet again, in fact he plates 'em!2-1 us.but it's a soft 2-1.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 I get to drive to Omaha with my wife, child, and Mother-in-Law in the morning.Pretty good spot for ditching the mother-in-law but Omaha still has an airport and bus station. Keep going west a couple of hours and then drop her off.
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 No one should fear CJ Wilson.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Atta boy Brian!!!Thanks... With words of encouragement like that. I can stay up a little longer
