Still not a Stauffer situation? What is a Stauffer situation?

Sounds like a good punchline contest to me. Winner get bragging rights. Determination of how the winner is selected is open to good bribes.

I was in the frozen food section of the grocery store and I wanted to purchase a package of En-Cor Salisbury Steak. Much to my chagrin, they were all sold out. I was in a a pickle... a situation of sorts. That's when it hit me, I need to call on Stauffer.

I am Happy to report that Al Molinaro (Al Delvecchio from Happy Days and the face of  En-Cor's Frozen Family Meals commercials is still alive at the ripe age of 95). "If you want more it's En-Cor."

Shandy -- isn't that beer & lemonade mixed?

That's a popular version. Great on really hot days.

Unlike today where we're getting drenched. Lucky this wasn't a home game.

Actually sounds pretty good to me and I don't like beer anymore.

It got hot here late this afternoon - and it was already humid.

These go well with a Shandy.

Why would anyone do that to perfectly fine beer?

Maybe they only use coarse beer?

Wiki tells me there are Rock Shandies which are for teetotalers.

I'd be game to try the ginger beer varieties sometime.

Testing your memories.

On some old TV show, there was an episode (or several) where they would jump around spreading their arms acting like they were doing a voodoo thing or something similar.

I'm thinking it may have been a Gilligan's Island episode but I could be off entirely.

When I watch the eaglets spread their wings and dance around the nest, it reminds me of that scene.  (It's bugging me).

This goes well with diarrhea and gut rot rum.

I'd want a ginger beer-lemonade combo.

I'd leave out the real beer.

As per wikipedia:

"In Southern Africa, a popular variation is the Malawi shandy, which is made with half lemonade, half ginger beer, and a few dashes of Angostura bitters."

Lemonade is already begging for spirits no need to get beer involved.  Now a good snakebite with a bitter stout and some dry hard cider sign me up.

The Man From V.O.O.D.O.O.

I had such a crush on Ilya Kuryakin.  Now I see David McCallum and just think he's a twerp.
