RAIN OUT - Monday, June 1, 2015

[ashbury]

"The sun did not shine.

It was too wet to play.

So we sat in the house

All that cold, cold, wet day."

It is fun to have fun. But, you have to know how.

I think they should call up Chih-Wei Hu to make the spot start Wednesday.

Not on the 40 man

But that would be a fun troll of Oliveros

Ok then Berrios

[Zachary]

I'm surprised Chief didn't see this and give one of his quick witted comments. We are indeed in Boston and are highly concerned about the weather potentially 'raining on our parade.' We shall see. So far the game that was rained out happened to be the 1 game of the series we didn't buy tickets for... Let's hope we get to see the 3 games we came to see. If not, there may be something else in this town to keep us occupied.

Always get you down???

There area lot of these quotes, but we've only just begun. Please, Mr. Postman bring me a letter telling me some more. Well, someday I'll find it, the rainbow connection...the lovers, the dreamers...and me.

OK, now all of TD knows I love the Carpenters. My remaining masculinity is gone.

[Squirrel]

Chief being out of town - if he is - do I get tomorrow or the make up game?

Edit -- or both? I'll take them if they're free, specifically because I had today's ready and it won't make up for the make up game.

Isn't TN acting in Chief's stead? Ask him.

And someone else is scheduled for today and tomorrow so you might just be rained out.

Thanks, everybody for making this an enjoyable thread even without a game last night.

Maybe you can see both games on Wednesday!

I was thinkin'...

Of the Twins, past or present, who'd we liken most to thing 1 and thing 2?

You sound hopeful.

[nicksaviking]

Dang, at least it was a day game though.  I can't really follow those at work.

Well, we might. A Fenway security dude told us getting tickets would be really easy for tomorrow's day game. We had planned on doing some Boston sight seeing in the morning. We shall see what happens. Also, just know that seeing Hicks getting robbed stung pretty awfully from 100 feet away.
