Well, it's actually something that we've kept pretty hush-hush until recently. I mean, Kerguelen Island is pretty distant. I don't think we have to worry about him. I just thought that it would be nice to let the rest of you know that my grandpa is on here, too. :) He's also quite the photoshopping artist. Which reminds me...Grandpa, what happened to that picture you were going to do of Danny Gladden and the gorilla?

I collected the necessary data. It's currently sitting in his inbox.

Psst...anybody, who's that pitching for the Twins tonight? Where on earth did TR find him?!

He found him on the open market.

He found him on the open market.

Were there flies on him? Or did they stick with the strawberries and bananas since they smelled more like garbage?

By the way plug it out makes sense to me. If we say plug it in why can't it go plug it out?

That has been a life long contention of mine. Another example, if your shirt can be tucked in, it can be tucked out. Alas I have found people outside the immediate geographic area have little understanding of the proper use of the English language!

Dan Gladden throwing bats at a gorilla.

How about the gorilla going to Dan G's house and punching him out on his lawn?  (See who remembers this one...)

Now that's getting too graphic.

Dogs are pretty smart

I went to college and it never occurred to me to put Oreo's in a clothes basket.

YOU WENT TO COLLEGE.

You think Provus would notice if the gorilla took  his place in the broadcast booth for a few innings?

Probably. Danny doesn't make a habit of throwing gorilla droppings at Cory when he gets teased about his twin brother in the stands who lacks only 20 lbs.

The accents bit is spot on Hrbowski. I moved down to Austin, TX last year from Minnesota, expecting to talk to everyone with southern drawl accents. Little did I know there is no such accent in this city. However, the further east you go in Texas, the thicker the accent. They talk like they have molasses pouring out of their mouth.

Even after a year away from god's country of 10,000 lakes, I still get comments all the time that I talk like a northerner.

I went to school in Rhode Island, and because of my penchant for mimicking their dialect, nobody knew I was an outsider until I was entrenched in the culture.
