Nolasco to return to the Rotation, Milone to the bullpen

Which is the equivalent of winning silver in the Special Olympics.

Not very cool. Pick something that truly is not very exciting.

I wonder if the FO is getting ready to make a move here shortly.  I would not surprise me if they are actively shopping Pelfrey possibly Milone given we are stuck with Nolasco and Santana for the next two years at least.

I doubt it.  They brought that many starters in because they felt they needed them.  Nothing has changed in that regard except Santana's suspension which would make them more likely to keep all the starters.

This will work itself out.  Could be as soon as Hughes being DL'd.

I agree that keeping May up is the most important thing right now. I get that you ride the hot hand with Pelfrey, but given his history, it's probably a mirage. May certainly has better upside. In fact, according to BR:

Trevor May:    ERA - 4.43 / FIP - 2.60
Mike Peflrey:  ERA - 2.25 / FIP - 4.53

May's differential is 1.83 in the right direction.
Pelfrey's differential is 2.23 in the wrong direction.

Does that include yesterdays 10 hits in 5.2 innings? For a change, Theilbar came in and didn't hurt Mays line more as he left with the bases loaded, and Theilbar didn't let any of the inherited runners score and got the out.

I'm now looking forward to seeing Pelfrey pitch. I'm only interested in seeing Nolasco from the standpoint that one cannot avert the eyes even though you know it's going to be a train wreck.

They obviously need more guys in the pen who can't get righties out...

I do not understand the makeup of this pitching staff at all.

Any reasonable return from a trade of Pelfrey should not be delayed for any reason involving Meyer.

Another mark of a badly run organization. A player's contract, not performance, determines playing time. On top of that, one rehab start in Low-A and he's deemed ready to return to the big leagues. What, the Twins couldn't pop for a flight to Chattanooga or Rochester?

Well, I can't wait for the next terrible start, then previously unknown "injury" to pop up, followed by another DL stint, then joke rehab assignment, and return to Minnesota prompting a more deserving pitcher to get bumped. All because of his terrible contract. I'm afraid we have 2-1/2 more years of this cycle. It's an embarrassment!!!

Man...if only this approach had been taken in regard to CF.

As the parent of a Special Olympics silver medalist I can assure you I couldn't be prouder of his and his teammates accomplishments. Your comments aren't funny and instead make you look like an ignorant, clueless jerk. My son is nobody's punchline.
