now, was that hit 'into the shift' or was that a play the 2B makes if everyone is positioned like normal?

Yes.

So far, only two posters have taken a swing at this one.

It's just sittin' there on a tee, folks.  I am disappoint.

I didnt think $300 a canister could be beat.

Guy hits a home run... You gotta let him round the bases

So Mauer would be 3-3 against most teams.  Just sayin'

I dunno...I think he'd be 1-3 against most teams.

I had siblings 5, 6, and 7 years older than me - the years I trick or treated after they had to stop, they were relentless hunting down my stash.  No two week grace period.  If it was not properly hidden it instantly started to shrink.  Same with any spare change I had.  I just realized, they really were/are not good human beings.

It's the same thing in the Wild.

Bird hunts for the right sticks to build a nest... One at a time... Flying long distance building this nest... One stick at a time.

Leaves for another stick... Comes back to discover that other birds came and took all the sticks.

Or

Squirrel... Gathers Nuts and seeds... All Summer for preparation of the upcoming Winter... One Nut... One Seed at a time... The Squirrel builds his stash in a tree.

Owl comes by and Eats the Squirrel.

most 1Bs don't stop the ball on that  last one and Gordon's range really helped him on the 2nd one.

Two WEEKS?

Halloween candy didn't last through the "safety check" at my house.

My siblings also used to "check" any dessert (esp ice cream) I was eating to "make sure it was not poisoned" and then eat half of it.  Although I suppose that was better than when they made me chocolate milk and added some Tabasco sauce with the chocolate syrup.  Kind of scary that they ended up having kids of their own, because looking back, they might be sociopaths.

This is the third series. Must be my Nevada Math failing me here.

April games don't count as much.

Uh, Laddie, you might want to look into any anti-jinx formulas you have on hand...

I've erased game 7 from existence!!!

Didn't happen... I'll never acknowledge it.

Dessert at my house was sand. And Cactus juice.

For a minute there I got you and Chief confused.
