He will look better when he remembers things like... Mechanics.... Repeating his stroke.

Right Now he thinks he's this girl

Apparently a big part of his problem is that he thinks too much.

Pitches inside his head.  Wonder if that game turns out better?

Carnac: "Struck out the side."

Ed: Three up, three down?

Carnac: Three strikeouts in the inning.

Ed: Three strikeouts?

Carnac: In the inning.

Ed: The same inning?

Carnac: In the same inning.

Ed: By both sides, top and bottom of the inning?
Carnac: Half inning.  Three strikeouts in the half-inning, if you're planning to run this past my ex-wife's lawyer for accuracy.

Ed: Which one?

Carnac: The wives, or their teams of lawyers?
Ed: Hey-Yo!

Carnac: May a group of legal aides take up residence in your financial advisor's office building.

Ed: Hey-yooooooo - no, that would be bad.

Carnac: Exactamundo.

Ed: Perhaps you should open the envelope.  This is getting painful.

Carnac: Speaking of painful: "What were the highlights of Trevor May's 5-run fourth?"

You need to get past these primitive superstitions. It was a butterfly flapping its wings in Madagascar.

Where Madagascar is Camden park, wings are bats, and Chris Davis is a butterfly?

Yeah, you're right.  i think i need new primitive superstitions.

And at least Delmon didn't inflict the damage, and Hardy only walked.

But it's still entertaining to talk about 'em.

And we got two base runners that inning.  I think there's still hope for us.

I've been holding off, small sample size and all, but I'm having a hard time picturing May as a top of the rotation kind of guy. Stuff just doesn't look that good so far.

You didn't see promise in the first three innings?

What I didn't like was the "cleansing breaths" or whatever they were, that he started doing after a couple of bad pitches.  He doesn't have command of himself (even if that's a foolish attempt at mind-reading on my part).  He needs to fix that before he really will have command of his pitches.

Your hovercraft is full of eels?

I was told that my tourist dictionary was strictly accurate.  I will see about obtaining a refund.  Bouncy bouncy?

In all seriousness... I haven't seen a pitcher this messed up... In quite some time.

I think it would be funny... If Gardy took the ball and handed Trevor Plane Tickets to Rochester... Right there on the mound.

A trade of sorts.

Okay, and now I've stooped breathing again. Come on May!

Stand up straight and you will breathe better.

Run schafer!

(If you mean the attempt to save the HR.)  Could break a wrist or forearm on a play like that.

Looks like he just plain missed the ball.  Went into the fan's glove cleanly.

Have any of you watched "Quickdraw" on Hulu? (the free side)

I think it's the type of humor you all would like.

I'll give it a try, but as with Yogi, I don't usually like the kind of humor that I like.
