stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Way to keep that all-important sixth run from scoring.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2014 Author Posted August 16, 2014 I'm very glad i don't have to cook for you. Yeah... You are always putting stuff into stuff.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Even the other team's OF's converging on each at high speed has me wincing due to the mental image of the replay of the Buxton/Kvasnicka collision.
Thegrin Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 If we really do come back I don't know if I could handle it.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Yeah... You are always putting stuff into stuff. Only when I'm not being lazy.... and lately I seem to be lazier and lazier.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Unforgivable to be picked off in that situation. I think Plouffe might have got lucky.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2014 Author Posted August 16, 2014 Damn it Plouffe... Inexcusable.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 So, now that Nolasco is healthy, and still pitching terribly, what is the new excuse?
LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Only when I'm not being lazy.... and lately I seem to be lazier and lazier. Was going to make a joke about this but the effort seems a little much. In other words, I've got that beat...
LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 So, now that Nolasco is healthy, and still pitching terribly, what is the new excuse? He's pitching terribly, and therefore not healthy. It's just that he doesn't know it yet.

ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Marny Gelner is really nice, but if she handed me $100 worth of scratch off tickets (real value = $0), something snarky would surely come out of my mouth on live TV.

Nah .... you'd probably get about $2 off them. Not enough for beer money, though.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Looks to me like the Kernels ought to keep wearing those black & gold unis .... currently kicking Peoria's b*tts to the tune of 11-0.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Well, six in a row retired.

Here are 100 dollars worth of scratch off tickets from the Minnesota State Lottery? Scrapthenickname: Thank You so much Marney... I have a gift for you as well... Approximately 20 napkins from the concession stand up top.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Friggin Obama. It's possible. He almost smoked Ahmad Rashad with a shanked tee shot the other day. Maybe he hit Nolasco in the right elbow and there's a media coverup conspiracy. I'll check with my uncle. He's the one who broke the story that we never went to the moon.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Nah .... you'd probably get about $2 off them. Not enough for beer money, though.Net take one buck after paying a bored 6 year old in your row a dollar to do the actual scratching off.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2014 Author Posted August 16, 2014 Net take one buck after paying a bored 6 year old in your row a dollar to do the actual scratching off.Nope... Price is up to 5 bucks now. Kids are passing by dollars lying on the street now.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Nine in a row. Ricky is battlin'.Yup. His tail is completely off for the night, I think.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Well, the Twins got Ricky a lead ... let's see what hee can do with it.I think the key to Ricky Nolasco winning games is to never get him a lead. / wait, what?
LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Nope... Price is up to 5 bucks now. Kids are passing by dollars lying on the street now. You're probably right, but then there's my weird ability to sometimes be able to Tom Sawyer kids into getting fired up about doing boring, repetitive tasks. Not always, but a thing of beauty when it works. Aaand Bremer with yet another cry of wolf on a can o'corn.

LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 I think the key to Ricky Nolasco winning games is to never get him a lead. / wait, what? That actually works if you think of it as distinct from him being credited with a Win. Somewhere you can probably see what the team's record is when he starts games. Not going to look though, because as noted earlier, lazy, but even more so because I fear that looking it up might take away my last hope that there's a way the Twins get value from his contract.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 But I sure do love watching that Kurt DiMaggi----- ahem, Suzuki..
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Croutons in salad? If you just put the lettuce and dressing and tomatoes in between toast. It'll be the same thing. Croutons in there is kinda like a salad sandwich.Use mayonnaise as the dressing and sprinkle in some bacon bits, and you basically have a BLT if you include croutons.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Looks like Neddly-diddly-doodly is doin' some managin'.Burns: "You! Strawberry! Hit a home run!". Strawberry hits a homer. Burns: "I told him to that!" Smithers: "Brilliant strategy, sir."
