Random thoughts:

 

--Not sure what I think of the red jerseys.  Looks like we're in spring training, which could be good if we could reset our record

 

--Vargas looks like he wants to crush the ball on every swing

 

--Can we end this Darnell experiment?  At least he pitches to contact like they ask.

Poor Susan... She gets to jam with Dylan and some guy is hitting on her for the first 3 minutes of the song.

 

I was hoping that she would take the Mic for a verse... She covers Dylan nicely... Her version of Don't Think Twice... It's alright is one of my favorites.

 

As for the Guitar playing... Robbie Robertson makes funnier facial expressions.

Abreu has hit safely in 39 of his last 40 games. Pretty good for a rookie.

 

I think, though, "hitting streaks" should be rethought; if a player walks four times but doesn't get a hit one game his streak ends? That's Old Testament thinking.

Just turned on the game.  Morales sort of looks to me like David Ortiz would if somebody surgically removed his gut and reattached it to his butt.

 

Nice confidence builder to get a double and two RBI against one of the best starters in baseball.  Will be a while before we see if we get anything from Pryor or Vargas, but it's good to see even baby steps toward an actual rebuild, even with long shots.
