Guy down the dorm hall from me felt he needed a collared shirt for a first date.  Money being in short supply, he proudly returned from the thrift store with a polo bowling team shirt with the name 'Clyde' stitched above the pocket.  Talk about creating an unshakeable nickname for yourself.

You've got the right idea, with the caveat that they only fit tightly on those least flattered by them.  And since nobody is flattered by them, well...

after riding my schwinn air dyne for an hour this morning, i was sitting on the deck-still wearing my sopping wet shirt-- when the fedex man arrived

he said 'have you been working out'

i said ' no, i was just thinking about the white sox bullpen and i broke out in a cold sweat'
