Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 I already control Chief... he just doesn't know it. I work at the Defense Finance and Accounting Services... One press of a button, and hedoesn't get paid. You are my new favorite mod
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Good luck to you... Let's have a TD quick survey on what dog diehard should get. I'm suggesting a Collie... They are beautiful and you may fall in a well someday. I say go for the mutt - go to the human society type places and see which dog speaks to you (unless you need a hunting dog, or if there is a breed you have always really wanted).
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Way to Gibby... end that inning with a K. Hay wait a minute, how can you pitch and post here at the same time? You will find out who the real Gibby is during the summer Olympics of 2016.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 You are my new favorite mod I'm not sure what to think about that. I'm also actively seeking new work, so that should tell you something about working there.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 We had one of these guys for a while, but you really have to work like heck to keep them from becoming the family alpha. We finally had to get him to a home in the country. Here's Pete with me, from about 2007. All Goldens since him.

My current dog is a mutt. Beagle/Lab/something. Rescued him at 3 years old. I'll simply say this... dogs can have mental problems too.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 I work at the Defense Finance and Accounting Services... You have my admiration. Usually, you can't get people to admit to that.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Here's my dogs... The husky/lab got put down last fall
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 I had a St. Bernard Chihuahua cross.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 I had a St. Bernard Chihuahua cross. What'd you do to get him angry like that?
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 My current dog is a mutt. Beagle/Lab/something. Rescued him at 3 years old. I'll simply say this... dogs can have mental problems too. Mutt or purebred. We had the craziest Boston Terrier ever when I was in my teens. But overall, I love the breed -- good with kids, smart (at least my current one is too smart for my own good), affectionate. But we had mutts growing up as well and one of my most beloved dogs ever was a mutt. OTOH, while I've found goldens to be affectionate (lots of them around where I live), I just don't find them to be very bright. Kind of boring to me. So it just all depends on your personality, the size you want and the characteristics you want. And NOBODY should pick out your new baby but you!
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 He doesn't shed much but cleaning up after him when you take walks will be a lowlight.Don't believe everything Mrs Chief says.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Try this again with something other than a thumbnail pic.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Not to worry...nothing a nice 6-4-3 won't cure.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Looks like Detroit is playing Twins Baseball against Gibson.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Gibson usually a sure handed fielder. not sure how long we'll last giving these guys 4 outs per inning.
MileHigh_Jake Verified Member Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 That first bunt was a tough play...
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Unbelievable!! Way to avoid the big inning, Gibson.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Not to worry...nothing a nice 6-4-3 won't cure.Or a nice 5-4-3. Either way.

glunn Community Moderator Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 A client who has Angels season tickets has generously given me 4 tickets to the Twins-Angels game in Anaheim on June 26th. The game begins at 12:35. Normally, I would take my wife, my son and his girlfriend, but my wife cannot attend and my son and his girlfriend may not be able to take off work. These are pretty good tickets -- Section F128. Thus, I have one free ticket for sure and possibly 2 or 3 (I will see my son and his girlfriend on Sunday and try to get an answer from them then). It would be nice to see the game with one or more TD comrades. Please PM me if you are interested in attending. BTW, I think that Brian's setup today was especially hilarious.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 And to think... How excited Tigers fans were to have Miggy with the bases juiced.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Somehow the Tigers' 5th makes me feel better about the Twins' 3rd.
