Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2014 Author Posted June 3, 2014 Not when the announcers gush about it for another 2 or 3 minutes........one minute , he is such a good athlete he can play anywhere(and I agree he could) and the next minute, he makes such a great play for being new at the position........Joe is a great athlete, he could , I believe play anywhere..........I just tired of the never ending LOVE and never hear ANY criticism from the Bremer.......When Mauer hit those doubles it was Joe is coming around , adjusting, and not because of poor location by Garza, and when he struck out, it was great pitching..........I like Joe, but I don't like the gushing by Bremer, nothing is ever Mauers, it is the other guy doing his job well. Yeah... It makes no sense to try and keep a plum job watching baseball. Bite those hands... Bite them!!! Truth to POWER!!!
Beezer07 Provisional Member Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Maybe higher than his OBP, but not his OPS. Well....oops.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 And then get off the pot. Oh, that's the order. Poop.
Beezer07 Provisional Member Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 This is kinda why I don't get into the minutia of the game in threads. I almost never see things the way the majority does. I saw him make a great play and thought wow! What a great play! Time for another bite of mac and cheese!
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Not when the announcers gush about it for another 2 or 3 minutes........ I just tune out Bremer. Figuratively by just not hearing him. Or literally by muting him. Works for me.

Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 I just tune out Bremer. Figuratively by just not hearing him. Or literally by muting him. Works for me. And then play Yoko Ono for background noise.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2014 Author Posted June 3, 2014 I saw him make a great play and thought wow! What a great play! Time for another bite of mac and cheese! I did the same thing when I got married. "I do" that's a big moment... Time for another bite of Mac and Cheese.

Beezer07 Provisional Member Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Nunez clearly needs a smaller helmet
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Plus I hear you couldn't hit a curveball. I actually can, but I spend very little time with baseball. Most of my time is spent helping football players make great plays and getting touchdowns. Their celebrations are touching and to be honest with you, I am a bit of an ego-maniac... I love the praise and attention.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 You're responsible for picking her. That counts for something. Sometimes people wander into the showroom, survey the options, and ask the salesman/new best friend, 'Tell me about this magnificent mechanical horse named... Pinto'. Who is not in the lineup. Again. But because NL park, right?

Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 I just tune out Bremer. Figuratively by just not hearing him. Or literally by muting him. Works for me. Dick never bothered me much, but the last few minutes of listening to him, and Roy babble on about open stadiums is making me want to open a vein.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2014 Author Posted June 3, 2014 Honestly... It's a tough job with a unique skill. It's tough to talk for three hours. It's a slow game and the action is primarily routine. You are almost guaranteed to say something pointless and repeat phrases.

Bert has always been a drinking game... It's Dick who has gone down hill during the team's horrendous slide...
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 This next inning is the one the Twins are really gonna turn it on.

They are just white noise to me unless I decide to listen actively. But ugh, this one is not looking good.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Dude, are you naturally funny, or do you just bring it out in game threads?I wonder that too.. I wonder what it's like to work in LaBombo's office...
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 I do want to thank you Minnesotans for letting us keep 2" of rain yesterday ..... didn't send all of it north! How was your gig, Gibby?

Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 I wonder that too.. I wonder what it's like to work in LaBombo's office...If I worked on the same office, I'd never accomplish anything but chuckle and get fired. It would be short lived.

Dr. Evil Verified Member Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 I'm a bit fed up with Mauer. Tired of hearing "he'll be fine" and "he'll get his." He's a go-zillionaire and he is not driving in runs. Get your tail in gear! Tired of hearing "keep your approach the same" and all that baloney. Drive in some runs and make a difference. I would trade him but know one would take his contract. Frustrated.....

Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 This game has sort of sucked, but I think the Twins are gonna win this sucka. 9th inning heroics straight up!
