jokin Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Well, the Twins have awakened Solarte. It seems like every series someone goes off on them. Cano, Papi, Rios and now Solarte. Dick made sure to get in the point that Rob Antony (master of gaining self-back-slapping publicity and credit through 20-20 hindsight) desperately tried to re-sign Solarte in the offseason but lost out to the Yankees....can't give away his money....
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Are we sure that Joe Mauer didn't mind meld with Aaron Hicks? Dick doing his best cover-job...."Mauer pounds that ball down the first base line!"
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 "It's a tarp!" Can we Burton get out of the inning without letting any more Yankees score? Can Minnesota score in the top of the 9th to extend the game? Tune in next time, following the um, rain delay!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Hey... It's back on Hey... Everyone
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 "I hate waiting..." I'm impatient with the microwave.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 31, 2014 Author Posted May 31, 2014 Eeek, that was interestingly sort of scary.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Well... Dozier saved a run at least.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 31, 2014 Author Posted May 31, 2014 Dozier saved a run, but if someone were covering 1st might've saved two.
longstrangetrip Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Eeek, that was interestingly sort of scary. I know. But wasn't infield fly called? Otherwise, Plouffe can drop it and we might turn 2.
Oldgoat_MN Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Correia is starting to look like a genius. That kinda has me flummoxed.
longstrangetrip Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Admit it...doesn't it feel weird having someone other than Rivera coming in for the save?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 31, 2014 Author Posted May 31, 2014 Correia is starting to look like a genius. That kinda has me flummoxed.I prefer not to think about it ... hurts my head too much.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Parmelee was in no man's land on the grounder. If Dozier picked the ball cleanly out of his glove, he might have had a chance at a 4-1 putout.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 31, 2014 Author Posted May 31, 2014 This game is going to be over in time for me to go back to work.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Somebody get on and somebody else hit a long ball.
