Is there any chance this Corriea's last start after he gives up 8 runs in 3 innings today?

 

Maybe...May is lined up on the same schedule in Rochester. But Kris Johnson is pitching better than May, and also would be available for the next start. Might be nice to get a lefty in the rotation.

Yep. I'm pretty forgiving of Mauer but that was just plain bad.

 

The swing and miss was bad, but he took two pitches in his wheelhouse before that. In that situation, you have to look for those pitches and do something with them.

It's a tough position to put us fans in, brock, because we want to cheer for everyone...just so tough to do when Kevin keeps struggling and there are alternatives in upstate NY.
