KC's defense really bailing him out this inning. Can he keep dodging bullets until he gets to 100 pitches?

You know, we will score 3 runs, Gardy will run him back out, and he will promptly load the bases.

Me too...keeps everyone loose in the dugout too. I remember all his Chisox teammates being upset when he was traded. I get that now.

Hard to believe, but from what I've read, Nunez was similarly popular with his Yankee mates.

I believe it. I'm just judging based on first impression. His body language, and such. The dude just looks motivated.

Thanks for the ugly, tolerable 4 innings, KC. See Rob Anthony immediately.

Careful what you wish for, Antony might offer him a raise.

A raise? Nah. A 3-year extension? Of course! You can't deny the veteran presence.

That was an interesting way for Arcia to rack up another outfield assist in this series. Now can we finish a rally against Tanaka?

Give Arcia credit. Most of the time, when the throw goes through, you can make it to second easily. That's what Jeter was thinking last night.

Excuse me? That is TWINS BASEBALL!

Heh, well, but it's nice when stupid base running of the other team wins for us ... for a change.

Twins defense helps Correia in the best bullet-dodging performance of the season.

Arcia has a cannon, but the fact is we got a little lucky...he missed the cutoff man.

I don't think he had any interest in the cutoff man.

I'm seeing what you're seeing, and am pleasantly surprised. I just figured with what he has had to go through with the media and the fans in NY and his own struggles that his attitude would have soured over time. Give this Eduardo full credit for perseverance.

Exactly, but why Solarte shouldn't have tried it today. And it wasn't even close.

"Why do they call him Bullet Dodger? He Dodges bullets."

I don't know if it's entirely luck. It isn't the first time this has happened. And if he had hit the cutoff man, the runner probably wouldn't have tried for 2nd.

I don't think he had any intention of hitting the cutoff man lol

Teixiera left the game due to soreness in his wrist. Maybe we've passed on the curse to the Yankees.

Yankees' announcers scratching their heads at both Nolasco's and Correia's performances.
