I don't think he had any intention of hitting the cutoff man lol

Watched the replay, Parmelee was late to get in position for the cutoff, which probably prompted Solarte to try and take 2nd. The runner would have scored on the wide throw to home pretty easily. Houdini has nothing on Correia.

Yankees' announcers scratching their heads at both Nolasco's and Correia's performances.

It's Gardy's Baffle them with bullspit scheme.

I don't think he did either, tibs, but if you and Gibby are giving him a pass, I'm not with you on this one. I noticed the entire team congratulated Arcia as he came to the dugout, but I don't think Gardy joined in. Arcia's mistake was negated by more horrid baserunning.

You know, Brian ... just some friendly advice. It's kind of dangerous to pretend to think you know what women think, even jokingly. ;)

In all honesty... I have no idea what women think... I freely admit this. I do know this for sure. Girls do not like it when you throw up on them.

I did that once while riding on the zipper at the fair. She was very clear in her displeasure.

Good observation. So let's summarize. Base hit to right, first baseman doesn't set up for the cutoff, right fielder throws the ball ten feet up the line.

And it all works out...clean living!!!!

I cant give him a pass, but I don't like to stifle aggressiveness either. I can forgive a young player giving his all.

She was clearly too high maintenance.

(assuming your move was unintentional?)

You are right about women not liking getting puked on, except for this one chic in Stevens Point.

Well, duh! But I don't think that can be attributed to females only.

I don't like getting thrown up on...but I thought that was just me getting in touch with my feminine side.

Just reading the game thread... I had to laugh... All the venom thrown toward Kevin Correia... Meanwhile he's dueling with Tanaka and hanging in there but the Venom only slowed.

Lets... Save that venom for his next start... For today... How bout an Attaboy!

Sure... Go ahead... Take the one thing I know about females and un-gender it.

Since his recall, I am liking Arcia's play in right. He's showing a strong, but not necessarily accurate arm. He doesn't look lethargic or unfocused. He's been aggressive charging balls and throwing.

The Venomous Bastards. That should be the next Stallone film.

I know...it was a gritty performance. But god it was tough to watch

I was thinking the same thing. He just doesn't look ... bad ... out there.

I love it... He's aggressively playing the game and that's how you play it.
