Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 I just discovered that when you refresh the page there is a "view first unread" button. The fact that this might be the highlight of my day might not be a good reflection on my life... Omelet with bacon, but I do like a good egg salad sandwich (also with bacon and maybe some cheese and tomato).SSS, but it's pretty darn good, like hitting a double in your second at bat.

LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Nice throw by Zukesie, and as bummerish as it's been to see the offense stymied, Gibson holding up his end of a pitchers' duel is more significant.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 LOL. I liked to do that as a kid. But at some point I just got to the point where I couldn't stand them unless the yolk and white were well-combined. Even if I eat a hard-boiled egg (maybe once a year), I have to mush the white and yolk together. Textbook case of playing with your food

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2014 Author Posted May 29, 2014 I like over easy, cooked whites, runny yolk.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 I've never had quail before. I've also never been peppered in the face with birdshot.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 I like over easy, cooked whites, runny yolk. Alright... Another Yolker!!! JB is getting outnumbered.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Over hard, on an everything bagel with salami or bacon and swiss. Perfect breakfast sandwich.
MichiganTwins Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Well I got here late, I thought I would immediately spark the offense, but I have done nothing with my late pinch hitting opportunity. I do not want to go out there to play defense. I might just hit the showers early tonight.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 I'll eat the eggs as their cooked, which is usually scrambled, but tryin' to cook the white and leave the yolks intact/uncooked until the last second, turning the heat off, and letting the residual heat cook the yolk just a bit as they get scrambled together, so the overall result is moist, with the flavor of yolk... That said, if i could get away with it, i'd claim i like them in riddle form:"Box without hinges, key, or lidYet golden treasure inside his hid." And i like goose eggs with twins pitching and fielding. Not so much when batting.

JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Mmmmm ... runny, yolk goodness! Running to the bathroom to throw up ....

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Brian! Yeah... I should probably reconsider my purpose on this earth... Shouldn't I?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2014 Author Posted May 29, 2014 You just killed my like of runny-yolked eggs. That was ickish.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 That was ickish. There's Ick. There's Ish. And then for Brian...there's ickish.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 You just killed my like of runny-yolked eggs. That was ickish. Ok... Not Ishish... So that's another clue.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Yeah.. But you'll have a solid breakfast plan tomorrow. Give me Honey Bunches of Oats. Heck, I'd even take oatmeal (although the weather is a bit warm for it).

JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 May I also suggest to the Twins that the DO something .... helps prevent these little diversions.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Just a guess... You scare the hell out of young waitresses. I don't know... That's how i try to cook 'em myself... Served on well buttered potato toast, so the eggs melt the butter if the toast doesn't. So no service staff involved with that. And i don't usually scare myself much. I try not to, anyway... I have never actually tried to get eggs in riddle form. Don't know what would happen if i did...
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Good outing by GibsonGibson
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 You just killed my like of runny-yolked eggs. That was ickish. You won't be able to eat eggs without thinking of me. I'm honored and disappointed with myself at the same time. That is actually how I go through life every day. Honored and disappointed.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 You know, I think it was Brian who started the steak sauce discussion, too.
