Guest Guests Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 If you aren't home by 9 forget about going home at all.http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41bhW-NyIJL.jpg
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 That's gonna be tough since I am meeting her around 7:30, but I see your point. Maybe I should get an apartment for a month or two until she starts to miss me.//ring ring// "Honey, it's me. Yeah, I'm not going to be home by 9. I'm going to my apartment instead." That should work out well.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Now I can complain about official scoring. It hurts no one that the run is ruled unearned, but it isn't right. Even a slow guy like Pinto scores on that double (near triple), with two outs. That run should be earned.
Guest Guests Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 If Mauer goes 3 for his next 4, he'll be batting .300 on the season.

Willihammer Provisional Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I was going to go today but Stubhub wasn't authenticating credit cards at about 4:30 PM (which is a heck of a time to stop considering sales close 2 hrs before game time). Anybody else try to get tickets for today's game? That's what I thought.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Nice pick by Plouffe. Guess that's why it's the hot corner. And, Butera is on base again.

70charger Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I just got word that I have a new nephew! Peter William. 6 lbs. 11 ozs. His dad's a Nats fan, but I'll get ol' Pete started on the right path.

The cool thing about being Uncle is you don't have to do diapers and if the baby cries while you are holding him... Mom usually shows up and takes over.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 And we are stuck with Pinto I'm strangely comfortable with that... (Pinto got on base too)

stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Joe doesn't look too confident going back on pop flies.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 I want a home run... every at bat..I wouldn't want that. I'd only want it from the at bats of Twins players.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I want a home run... every at bat.. That would be a very long game! Daktronics would have to design a new scoreboard.
longstrangetrip Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I have a burning desire to make a brash, probably overstated comment. With the addition of Pinto, Colabello and Suzuki to the lineup, I have never seen a Twins team so disciplined at not biting on the breaking ball out of the zone. It's been a Twins tradition to swing it those. Even some of our better hitters (Puckett, Hunter, Cuddyer) had that as a weakness. Hope they can keep it up.
