Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Joe has played in the outfield, and Pinto has a new first-baseman's glove. Just in case, dontcha know.
GCTF Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Hammer out, Bartlett in. Early riot test.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 DL move today. Either Willy or Arcia. I might do both, get Herrman and Mastro for 15 days. It will get Pinto in lineup everyday and allow Arcia and Willy to heal well. I guess we will see how serious Willys injury is. something needs to happen. We can't go into opener with two bench guys (one being the backup catcher). I'd send down a pitcher for a couple days before sending someone to DL

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 That was a horrible curve... But as bad as you can throw it.
twinscowboysbulls Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Early signs point to Nolasco sucking.
70charger Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Depends on your definition of Riot. If riot means turning over cars and lighting them on fire... I'd say no because the membership is too scattered. If riot means typing mean words in the direction of Gardenhire... I'd say yes. Fun legal fact: a riot generally requires either disturbing the peace/criminal mischief with two or more or three or more people. However, in Alaska, you can't be criminally convicted of rioting unless there are six or more people involved. So if you and four buddies want to tip over cars and light them on fire, I suggest you do it in Alaska.

Fatt Crapps Provisional Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Early signs point to Nolasco sucking. Andy is lovin that contact though!

mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Looks like another Pitchers duel. Good thing our bullpen is solid.
GCTF Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Worleyesque... Not quite, unless he blames it on the wind or his incredible intake at the buffet table.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 Early signs point to Nolasco sucking. He's up in the zone with everything. He should aim lower and that may change his outcomes.

GCTF Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Andy is lovin that contact though! There's something about the sound of a ball coming off a bat that just makes him all warm and fuzzy inside.
mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 I'm all for replay to get calls right, but this manager coming out of the dugout to not challenge has to end.
BigTrane Provisional Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Any thoughts on Nolasco so far? Also, the replay situation...
Joe A. Preusser Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 He's up in the zone with everything. He should aim lower and that may change his outcomes. He's clearly not breathing through his eyelids.
mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 If Francon questions a third call without a challenge and I'm an ump I eject him
mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 He's clearly not breathing through his eyelids. Maybe he could try chewing gum

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 Jeez.. It seems like we were ahead 2-0... one curveball ago
Joe A. Preusser Verified Member Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 I kind of expected more from Masterson, but am pleasantly surprised.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 Hit and run execution... In April!!!
