  1. OK....now THAT win means something. Buck+Correa+Ober allowed 100 pitches to keep bullpen fresh!!! A Chef's kiss indeed.
  2. As the resident poster giving the most crap to Correa..... let me just also say that if he and Buck ever get back to consistent ALL-Star level play at the same time.... this team could compete. I don't know if the is the beginning of a Correa breakout but I sure hope so. Is it possible that he is just a terrible hitter in cold weather?
  3. Hopefully this 'momentum' translates to real competition. The Angles have wasted a generational talent in Trout
  4. Tonkin doing Tonkin things... someone please explain to me why he was earmarked to be on the MLB team this season
  5. Well written but of course depressing.... The 5 stolen bases in 7 games was the most exciting to me... that kind of stuff can fire up a team and disrupt pitchers rhythm etc.... all of the intangibles. I didn't see the game.... were they just pounding the ball inside on him to move him off the plate?
  6. IDK... do you think the Yankees or Braves actually want Correa period, much less on that contract?
  7. Good Lord.... That Correa contract is gonna be the craptacular gift that keeps on giving and giving and giving. What. An. Unadulterated. Mess.
  8. Shocking! I have no idea what-so-ever why the Twins are wasting a 40 man slot on him
  9. Hopefully we can get Buck to wave his no trade clause.... The trade haul for Pablo and Buck will be the most important in the rebuild
  10. I would love to hear from anyone at TD who thinks Rocco will be ever be a manager for an MLB team again. Nobody is waiting with baited breath to hire him away from us.
  11. 'I don't think a manager has a determinative impact on player performance, one way or another.' ....yeah, history has clearly shown that leadership is not needed 🤭
  12. I'd keep Ryan and Ober but yes to the rest. Pablo also needs to be traded because we'll receive the most from him and there is no point paying his salary for the s-show of a team. Unfortunately, nobody would take Correa for even a bucket of balls because of his salary (even if he waived his no trade) Buck is interesting.... definitely could be traded for a good return if he waived his....
  13. (Narrator with a slight chuckle but quickly recovers his professional demeanor and states in a deep and commanding voice:) No... no they cannot.
  14. This is a really poor hitting team.... at this rate, we may not have much to sell in the inevitable fire sale!
  15. Don't worry everyone... Tonkin is on the way back... he'll save the day 🤡
  16. When your 30+ mil player strikes out with bases loaded and one out.... things are gonna be rough. Correa absolutely MIA this year
  17. unfortunately neither are compatible with a team that is serious about contention
  18. Fear not.... Tonkin is on the way back! 😏
