  1. I would trade away ERod before GG.... I will say that.... Trade ERod now to another team that hasn't figured out the big hole in his hitting game...
  2. I think Castro will bring back a better prospect than discussed here. I think there will be multiple teams competing to drive up the price. His versatility is huge coming down the stretch to cover for any injuries and he will give a manager a ton of flexibility in playoff games which is invaluable
  3. Totally agree.... if someone thinks that an article is just click bait.... HOT TAKE ALERT..... just don't click on the article!
  4. Least shocking news in a long time. We literally ALL have seen this and posted about it for WEEKS
  5. I also see Miller carving out a MLB career as a Defense bench piece on an otherwise good offensive team
  6. I forgot about Brock! IF he stays healthy, he would absolutely be attractive to contending teams! WHEN healthy, his stuff is electric enough to make a difference in the playoffs!
  7. I agree with ALL of this except Paddack. Competent SP always has value. While he may not slot as a playoff starter, he could very much help a team get over the hump and MAKE the playoffs. He could also bolster the bullpen in the playoffs. For me, Paddack, Duran, Castro, and Coulombe can all net a worthy return and should be delt. Larnach, Bader, and France would be possible 'sweeteners' to get a deal done with the above if they filled a specific need for a trade partner.
  8. Echo the IL for Ober.... something is not right (hip mentioned previously).... He is not benefiting himself or the team pushing through whatever is ailing him
  9. I believe the 'fools folly' is more likely to be doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. This team as constructed ain't making a deep playoff run.
  10. I think Wallner still has room to further improve and potentially be a star. I like that he is hometown and we need a few 'veterans' to guide the next core. I guess you would count Correa in the potential small 'veterans' group because nobody is going to touch that contract with a 10 foot pole unless the Dodgers or Yankees have some injuries that make them desperate. I like to keep good controllable pitching... even in a rebuild
  11. I'm a huge Buck fan. But honestly, if the Twins receive a good deal, they should trade high. Age-wise he will not be part of the next core that will hopefully deliver. I would be open to trading for anyone over 26 except Ober, Ryan, and Wallner
  12. The way this season is likely to progress... I suspect he will get a look in September
  13. Ummm... anyone seen that 13-win-streak button... if you find it, go ahead and hit it!
  14. overreacting to one start against college hitters is probably not wise. Draft based on stuff... his stuff did not change in one start. Whatever draft position his stuff warranted before that start is where he should still be
  15. I'm not at all confident about the Twins post season hopes, but Buck playing regularly in CF and hitting well is an absolute treat.
