  1. Great work Zebby... but still... SELL BABY SELL! (this reinforces that Paddack can go.... and pitching always brings back more than you think... can help a team get to the playoffs and then bolster the bullpen0
  2. I fear that his last 2 years of the contract will make this year look like All Star level play....
  3. Thank you for asking... I'll take 'D'... All Of The Above (always the answer on multiple choice tests)
  4. I see that you are in the bargaining stage of grief.... I am at the acceptance phase and here to welcome you when you are ready :)
  5. Key Takeaways From Series: 1. Paddack showed well to hopefully gain last minute trade intrerest 2. Duran and Jax showed poorly to stimulate trade interest/return SELL BABY SELL!
  6. Trade them both if the price is right... a highly ranked catching prospect is mandatory for one of the packages. Varland and Raya to the back of the pen for the rest of the year to see what we have
  7. Ryan and controllable pitching stays..... everything else is on the table for the right price.
  8. "Monday, we'll run a two-part series from Eric Blonigen on how the team could approach the deadline as buyers." I'll be a hard pass on that two-part series...
  9. 'Falvey is a smart and deeply respected baseball man.' Out of curiosity, is one criteria for the above picking up a manager's option year early when there would be no teams bidding against you for his services during the offseason?
  10. Correa is not part of a 'core' to build around He sole member of the 'rapidly eroding talent destined to be an albatross' category to desperately try to dump on another team.
  11. Trade Duran, Jax, Coloumbe, Castro, Stewart, Bader, Paddack, Vazquez (pitchers and catchers always bring back more than you think), France, Larnach, and Topa. If a team offers a sweetheart deal for Buck and he waives his no trade to play for a championship... do that too (I really like Buck, but he is not part of the next 'core') Trade Correa for anything if someone is willing to take the salary (he is going to be an albatross the last two years... which is why nobody would probably take him). Keep Ryan, Ober and the other controllable pitching Keep Lopez for now so you can trade higher on him at some point in the future.
  12. "Falvey is a smart and deeply respected baseball man." So does he have any trade value? Sell baby sell...
  13. Thank God we picked up Rocco's option for next year so we could avoid what was sure to be an intense bidding war for his managerial services during the offseason!
  14. Even when healthy, he can't hit strikes... so big problems.... shine is already off a bit but we should package him in a trade ASAP while he is still worth something
