  1. overreacting to one start against college hitters is probably not wise. Draft based on stuff... his stuff did not change in one start. Whatever draft position his stuff warranted before that start is where he should still be
  2. I'm not at all confident about the Twins post season hopes, but Buck playing regularly in CF and hitting well is an absolute treat.
  3. Buxton = 15 million a year; Correa = 30+ million a year. I'll take Buck on the better bWAR over the next 3 years. Correa has been a disaster at the plate for almost a year now
  4. If Tonkin is an answer... I don't even want to know what the question is!
  5. Totally agree. Honestly, though unpopular, the smartest move would be to sell high on Paddack if he can bring back any impact prospects.
  6. Love Arraez, but the Twins absolutely crushed that trade!
  7. If he is still doing this after another 600+ AB then yes potentially a world class hitter.... but no, not yet
  8. "he's still only 26 years old" Not young at all.... both have been passed or soon will be passed by other younger prospects. Neither is part of the long-term plan for a contending Twins team anymore
  9. Good to see Eales back in action. Gonzales is really on a heater this season. E Rod is ranked too high on our prospect list.
  10. Peak Santana and Liriano (and yes peak Liriano was actually better than peak Santana... but sadly it lasted less than a season)
  11. E Rod: 0-2 with 2BB and 2K perfectly encapsulates his problem. He has a good eye at the plate, but he cannot consistently hit pitches in the zone when they come. He's not a top 100 prospect on my list (which to be clear... nobody cares about :)
  12. Best news is Ryan, Lopez, and Ober are good enough to win playoff games if we can make it! Line up still worries me over the long haul this season....
