    The fact that the Twins have you pining for Gaper instead of Margot is a testament to how well they gaslight the community about their financial capabilities (woe is me about my year over year revenue while my team has appreciated to a value of 1+ billion). Fans need to vote with their money this year and find a different place to spend it until the Twins take themselves more seriously.

    If Mickey Gasper is the answer to any question.... I don't even want to know what that question is.... He is certainly not the answer to 'who is a key part of a championship roster construction?" or "Who is part of an exciting youth movement?" In summary... who f-ing cares what the Twins plans are for Gasper. Ultimately he will be a non-factor in the near and long term.

    I'm cool with the salary dump.... His chronic foot problems are a huge concern, especially as he ages. The Twins to not have the budget to absorb the 30+ million albatross during the last 2 years of the contract. Not great in the short term.... but that is the reality

    I worry that swinging for the fences (ie attempts to maximize high exit velocity and launch angle) may be putting more strain on the (lower) back similar to the concern that sliders and focus on high spin rate may put more strain on the elbow
