    I know he's an easy target with his bat, but we would NOT be where we are without his glove. The left side of our infield has been given a huge boost with Joe at first not to mention the many other plays he's made at first. imho.

    I'm actually pretty neutral on most decisions, as I do take a wait and see on most things, but this move? I really, really dislike as I don't see upside for any reason, whether in the hunt or not. And maybe the new FO doesn't have confidence in what they are seeing in the minors despite some of performances thus far? I don't know but if true that isn't something that is easily correctable and more of an indictment on the past regime than the present. Again, I'm playing it somewhat neutral, but this Colon 'experiment' just ughs me on any level. Then again, if I'm proven wrong, I'll be eating crow for dinner.

    I don't want Gibson or Santiago gone, not at this time; nor do I want ESan traded, unless there is a good offer for him. But I don't want Colon pitching, either, especially not on Tuesday.

    Then it's the perfect time to see what Gonzalves or Romero have, not waaaaaaaaaay past their prime old timers. Sorry ... but this sucks on any level, whether the Twins are in the hunt or not.

    I think it might take Falvey/Levine some time to put it together. It's not knowing what they have, it's realizing what they don't have, and what more they don't have to get what they need. I continue to remain neutral in my 'hope for the best, prepare for the worst' state of mind ... que sera sera.

    I actually think playing them both in July is a good thing and perfect timing. It will be telling one way or another, but likely just one way. Gives us enough time to make some decisions and hopefully a transaction or two or few to follow.
