    You are welcome to not read or participate in discussions where you don't like the topic. As much as you might want to feel one way and express it, others are allowed to feel another and express that, too. Disagree and rebut one another's posts all you want, that's the point. As long as the disrespect, uncivility and name calling stay out of it. But the thing is ... we ARE winning more than we are losing and from a lot of the posts we see, you wouldn't know it. And it's mostly about the way baseball is played today that is the larger issue and many posters here seem to centralize and blame Baldelli for something that is prevalent everywhere in the sport and not just here. I don't like it much, either, but as long as we are winning, I will abide and center my complaints square where they need to be, on Manfred and the MLB. That said, there have been many articles that are also critical of Baldelli and various underperforming players and the decisions made regarding those players. And, just for the record for everyone ... being critical is far different from whining and complaining and name calling. Being critical is what we expect. We ask that posters rebut the topic presented, rebut the posts you disagree with, and not use these forums as a place to unload general complaints just to complain that neither address the topic of discussion nor are constructive

    Stealing signs using technology is illegal. That isn't analytics. You are conflating quite a few complaints here with legitimate discussion.

    I have no idea who is out there and what might be possible, but I'd like to see us make a trade for 2 really good bp pitchers. And I'm not even sure what we'd have to offer up for that, but I think we have enough pieces to do it.

    I'm just going to interject here ... PLEASE ... do not make your posts personal toward other posters ... rebut the posts, not the poster. Please refrain from generalizations of 'everyone is saying ...', name calling, etc. It's okay to not like the manager, but there is a difference between general negativity and supplying critical commentary.

    I think Reusse is one of those ... 'love him or hate him' kind of writers. I know there are many people here who fit into both those categories! So ... I think that makes him still 'relevant' even if he might not be your cup o' tea

    Who said this? The most any have said is maybe he needs a bit of time in AAA to reset his bat. I see no one saying to kick him to the curb.

    I’m not sure they were wrong about Jeffers, at least not yet, but I do think they expected way too much from him this year

    We really don’t know about injuries and staying healthy for the year. Remember, though, Ryan wasn’t injured he was ill. That said, I think our starting pitching will still be good enough to contend. I don’t think our BP is. I think it’s a good team, except for that. If the FO can work a deal for a couple of BP arms, then I might up my pick. If not, I still think we contend, because the central is what it is, but go deep into the playoffs? I’m not confident on that.

    Sign Correa long term, move Royce to another position. In the SSS this year, it seemed pretty clear that Royce was the third best SS behind both Correa and Palacios

    Lewis officially moved to the 60-day

    If Maeda is back, I’m not relying on him to be a starter this year. But, if he’s strong, that would be a shot to the BP, a role he is not unfamiliar with.

    It’s the hometown crowd. I think it would have been good for Rocco and the FO to keep that in mind when choosing who to play and who to rest. I don’t think it’s that big of a deal to switch the schedule up a bit to consider this. That said, I don’t think it’s a fireable offense as a poster above suggested. It’s a molehill offense, not a mountain. Bottom line for me, we won.

    I concur. I think our SP, once healthy, will be fine enough. But we need better BP arms. Lock it down BP arms.
