    They all do unfortunately. They all seem ill-prepared for each at bat and each pitcher, as if every at bat is with a pitcher they've never seen before.

    Not sure if it was reported yet but the 91 Twins started like 2-9 so no need to get off this wagon yet.

    I don't think Molitor will be blamed for writing down the names given to him. He might have influenced a Buxton over Ryan Sweeney decision but that's hardly fireable.

    Maybe have a team discussion about situational hitting. Perhaps become aware of what the opposing pitchers can throw and how they will try to exploit our own swing charts. Also make Perkins show he can throw a clean 7th inning before sending him back to save anything. And what everyone else says on Fien.

    Is it plausible that some of Sano's troubles at the plate are related to learning a new position in the field? I think we heard that when Mauer was learning first?

    Striking out on 3 94 mph fastballs was concerning to me. They were a little up in the zone but over the plate

    If Liam Hendricks can go elsewhere and start throwing 95, could Tonkin go elsewhere and throw 102?

    I think there might be something with the vision - he often looked bewildered by umpires' calls last year. But even though he can see better, I'm not sure he can drive the ball with authority any different. I expect numbers similar to last year on BABIP, maybe less strikeouts/more walks so overall improvement.

    I would very much doubt that TR would allow a 12 million dollar pitcher pout in the bullpen. Duffey will start in AAA. And we love showing off our reclamation projects, so Kintzler will be on the team. I'm fine for both options, for April, as long as they pull the trigger faster than they did for Stauffer.

    Isn't this good because it might mean Berrios will be one of the next rotation options when someone is needed?

    I get that this is a low risk scenario - but is Quentin 'in great shape'? His knees are fully rested and he's mashing the ball in Mexico? Or he's not sure if he can still play and Spring Training will be his test.

    Unfortunately I believe Hot Stove season is over in Minnesota.

    I wouldn't really worry about trading Gibson until you need to decide whether he's worth Mike Leake money - I would think he'll command a similar deal by the time he's a free agent.

    Don't follow much, but I've watched enough NL in previous years to know that Kevin Correa and Tim Stauffer were mediocre at best against the DH-Less NL lineups

    Someone will have less at-bats this year (and the next couple) due to the presence of Park. Classic Minnesota passive aggressive solution to a problem.

    Perhaps T-Ry dangled Plouffey and saw only similar or poorer offers. In that case bravo Terry.
