  1. Don't kid yourself into believing the Twins have no blame in this. And to be honest I don't give a **** about Cleveland or Atlanta.
  2. Twins trade their broadcast rights to somewhere where we can freaking watch them play.....
  3. Bad pick? Yes. Worst in this draft? Yes. Worst in the history of baseball? Do a deeper dive going back 50 plus years and get back to me. I'll wait.
  4. I believe we have sufficient offense but not enough excess to trade. Also not sure what we'd get in return without parting with one of the top 3 prospect bats.
  5. the thing about grand slams is that they are so dependent on three runners being on base. Not our strong suit.
  6. "The Minnesota Twins' draft history since 2017 includes several selections that have yet to live up to expectations." The Minnesota Twins' draft history prior to 2017 includes several selections that have yet to live up to expectations. Every team's draft history since 2017 includes several selections that have yet to live up to expectations. Every team's draft history prior to 2017 includes several selections that have yet to live up to expectations.
  7. To be honest we worry less about whether a guy is left or right handed and more about what they do against right and left handers.
  8. It's almost as if fan angst based on a six week sample size early in the season is unwarranted. I once again go back to Donovan Solano having 5 RBI as May passed the 3/4 pole last year and thinking this guy is basically useless. And yet he was on of our most important sticks the rest of the way. Whouldathunkit?
  9. That's a nice sentiment. Signed--The Easter Bunny
  10. Funny. We've spent years whining about being too left handed. Until we realized that many of those lefties aren't good at hitting baseballs.
  11. Just for kicks and giggles, worth noting, that thus far there have been two all-stars in this draft and one of them (Brent Rooker) was drafted by the Twins.
  12. The fact that Willi Castro leads the team in Games Played and Plate Appearances shows how flawed this team either IS or IS playing. Not sure which. Failure of high picks like Kirilloff and Larnach to produce is a symptom and a cause.
  13. more concerned about whoever spaced the need for runs in Pittsburgh
  14. Right. KIriloff & Larnach are magically going to become something they haven't become for 4 years.
  15. How do you find a spot for him with the big league club with Brooks Castro playing 3B?
  16. also how long it has been since our LF production has been even as much as adequate
  17. I understand that Margot has not performed anywhere near expectations so far but I also remember lamenting the fact that right around this time last year Donovan Solano was sitting on 5 RBI and he eventually became a key cog in the offense last year.
  18. But we've got Kiriloff. And Larnach. And Wallner.
