  1. Upon further review, both J.A. Happy and Matt Shoemaker achieved -1.8 bWAR in 2021, but in fewer games pitched than Pacella. We'll done, gentlemen!
  2. I didn't catch which WAR you were using, but John Pacella needs to be recognized for his -1.8 bWAR in 21 games in 1982. That's quite an accomplishment.
  3. Maybe the Twins meant to claim the "wrong" Ryan Jensen. Is the wrong Ryan Jensen any good?
  4. The right fielder on Wallner's line drive looked a lot like Charlie Brown.
  5. Please - Joe Mauer, a Hall of Famer? He's no Harrold Baines!
  6. Maybe the Dodgers will offer Miguel a $300 million contract
  7. I had no idea that this system existed. Thank you for your excellent article and congratulations to the six players
  8. If the Pagan 2 year/$16M contract is any indication of what the reliever market looks like this off-season, don't expect a Twins bullpen move of any significance.
  9. If Buck could give the Twins even a half season in CF - say 80 games, playing 3 times a week. Plus another 20 or 30 games at DH. Imagine how much that would change the complexion of team.
  10. If they need to clear another spot on the 40 Man roster they can always DFA a Cole Sands type. There isn't anything too exciting on this list though
  11. Great article. It's fun having a good pitching staff for a change.
  12. Hilariously spot on. It was great to see Joe Ryan weigh in on the topic.
  13. I think you had stretches were different players have carried the team for a period of time
  14. "It’s got 2-3 too many guys…..hoping for 7 man Pen in Playoffs……certainly a max of 8." - JD-TWINS Well, a 3 game playoff series is 3 starters. I would be shocked if they carry fewer than 13 pitchers. They certainly won't go with a 10 man staff, as your math suggests.
  15. How does this bullpen sound for the playoffs? Duran, Jax, Thielbar, Pagan, Variland, Ober, Ryan, Floro, Keuchel, Winder
  16. Buxton's at bats have become so painful to watch
  17. Relievers are so volatile. Maybe one of these guys can fill a late-inning role for a few weeks. There aren't many good options who are healthy at the moment.
  18. It looked like Pablo was fastball and slider heavy the first time through the lineup. The second time through the lineup it looked like he threw a ton of curveballs. And then after that it looked like he mixed in his change up effectively. Hard to tell being at the game. Anybody watching on TV agree with this?
  19. I was at the game tonight. The Royals hitters had very few good swings at anything Pablo threw up there tonight. I know the Royals aren't very good, but man did Pablo look great!
  20. I think his plantar faciitis is affecting his hitting. I have had pf, and it SUCKS.
  21. WAR / 162 games played: BB 5.3 JP 3.3 MK 3.1 Sano 1.7 Interesting
  22. You know what will probably happen? Despite all the injuries and and lineups with Nick Gordon batting cleanup, the twins will lead the division until the beginning of September. And we will all believe it's real. Until we wake up in early October and look at the standings and find that the twins are double digits games behind. Wait that couldn't really happen, could it?
