  1. We've watched S1E1 so far......I think we'll finish Disco then go to the new show. Maybe watch Picard, hard to say.
  2. Except we also have last year with Bundy. This isn't an anomaly..... I do agree that saying we know for sure the young guys are good is jumping the gun, even if I think they are.... But this is Bundy
  3. Not even close. CC is one of the best players in the game Thanks for the medical information!
  4. That sucks, not for Lewis, clearly. Here's hoping he's great!
  5. All this. I can't believe this is another panic headline and article.
  6. Moon Knight thoughts (SPOILERS): It started great, and I mostly tolerated episodes 4 and 5 (there were some really good things, but they largely didn't make me think "great"). But, we did not like the end. This is NOT to say it is bad, we just didn't love the choices. The post credit scene was too integral to the story not to be in the show. Marc and Stephen are not different people. We would have preferred they integrate their personality into one or something, but going back to save a different personality was not a choice we liked at all. Why were there two hearts, if there are AT LEAST three personalities? Layla (sp?) just disappeared at the end, like, zero closure (she was the best part of the show all the way). Ammit showed Harrow what it was, and there was no crises of faith. Sigh. So much potential there.
  7. Unless Arraez and Miranda and Urshela all forget how to hit....they aren't trading for a 1B. Even then, I doubt they are. This team might deal for a C (if Sanchez struggles, which seems unlikely, or one of the two are hurt hurt) or some RP. The might trade for an elite SP at the deadline, depending on what happens along the way. But they aren't trading for a 1B unless things go very, very, very wrong. Heck, they'd be more likely to put Larnach at first if all the above go wrong, and put someone else in LF, imo.
  8. Not even the tiniest but worried. They have plenty of good options, none of which are Terry. Moving Lewis there has to be one of the worst ideas ever. He's ridiculously fast, you don't put him at first.
  9. Next? A pitcher for the bullpen. I got no idea what will happen with Lewis and Martin.... I'd probably move Larnach to first or DH, and put Lewis in left, and have him give CC a break occasionally.
  10. Agreed. I think he needs to show he's healthy for a few weeks.....
  11. I'm ok with getting nothing back, if Miranda hits and they roll the dice with him.
  12. These awards aren't about prospect rankings, but who did the best....so I'm not sure it matters how old anyone is compared to their competition, right? Anyway, any of those are great picks. It is nice to have too many options for a change. BTW, yes, I agree, SWR is the man.
  13. Kepler isn't moving to first. He's one of the best RFers in the game right now (defensively). And, he's also hitting. They aren't going to mess with that. Miranda and Araez (sp?) are the first basemen until Sano is back (if Miranda hits, I deal Sano).
  14. I think they keep two veterans, for the mentoring.... But it's hard to see where they fit if the young guys are this good... So you may be right.
  15. You watch every game in the majors, write down every play, and compare him to every first baseman? Good for you....I don't have time for that.
  16. . If you have evidenced he's good, let's see it.
  17. Correa has been great on defense. And has a very different track record.
  18. By what measure is he not terrible at defense? Just search the internet, it's clear he's terrible.
  19. The stats that matters for this discussion is BABIP and that low number is not reflective of anything but bad luck. You can choose to think the advanced stats are garbage, but they are much more predictive of future production than the old timey stats. OTOH, his defense is atrocious, so I'm not sure it matters if he hits very well or not....because he'd have to hit better than well to be worth keeping (assuming AK is healthy or Arraez and play first).
  20. Same.....but I'd rather Larnach was up and AK was at first.....plus, how long until AK feels pain again?
  21. SS or C for me, given the rankings. But, I'd be ok with Lesko too.
  22. This thread reads like they lost..... Some people just have to complain every thread....
  23. Are there many left handed relief pitchers, on bad teams, that are good and available?
