    I still don't get your point. Are they not getting ready, or doing it wrong? Or do you think everyone is hurt? I don't understand, and that's on me... I'm not worried about effectiveness at all, as I view the last year or three as much more predictive (other than injury) of how good they are (Ryan, Ober and Mahle).

    The bar for DH is much lower than many think...... I predict Larnach is the DH when Buxton isn't. But I'd prefer Larnach get a 1B glove and learn that position also......given AK's health so far. I'm not sure why Wallner isn't listed as a prospect, Larnach is likely a better OFer than him..... If the Twins implode, it will be Julien, Wallner, Larnach (whomever isn't in the field) by the break.

    Because athletes aren't very good at protecting themselves, they are competitors, not doctors or LONG TERM thinkers.

    Gordon is at 2B until Polanco is good to go, so not him. I don't get moving a GG caliber OF to first.......so I hope it isn't Gallo. Frankly, I'd give Wallner and Larnach first base gloves, but I've been saying that for weeks now.....you never know. I bet this puts Garlick back on the roster (ugh, who cares, give me a guy with upside and youth).

    Are you suggesting the Twins aren't trying to get ready for the year? People really over analyze every detail. It's mine boggling really. And they seem to assume the twins are always doing stuff wrong.

    They won't be contending if their pitchers aren't pitching well.... And if they aren't pitching well, or hitting well, whose trading for them?

    No complaints about trading hitting prospects for pitchers if you always go best available, as if the number five and ten players are that separated that is obvious all the time. So many here complaining about trading prospects..... And also demanding not taking the second best player.......
