    How is this relevant at this point? He wasn't signing here. He's gone. The only reason they have nothing to show is that they've gone out and acquired 4 SPs in addition to SWR......or SWR (who is 22/3) would be in MN. He'll be there eventually, zero doubt of that.

    I'd guess that makes him an All Star with 4+ WAR....yes, he'd definitely be worth the flyer! I'd guess he is more like 2.5-3 fWAR, and still worth it.

    Re-doing Kirk's deal, but supposedly only to move money to future years' cap, not extend him. Makes sense, they are way under the cap after this year (I mean, it makes sense if you are keeping him, which they clearly are). edit" moves 16 MM to future years.

    My issue was two fold, and it could have been coaching.... He made most of his tackles after big gains. It SEEMED like he always got pushed backwards (that said, I didn't watch every play). For 2.5-3 MM per year? Not going to find cheaper veteran, I'd think.

    Gallo is the starting LF. He's going to play all year.

    Julien can't play OF, and it isn't certain he can even play second. I don't think he and Martin are in competition. Gotta feel bad for Martin. They'll wait as long as possible to do surgery, you try hard not to cut into the human body.
