  1. So, you think they sat around and hoped? They didn't bring in two OFers and two backup Infielders? They didn't trade for another SP? What do you want them to do, to prepare for injuries, other than add depth?
  2. They literally brought in 2 backup infielders and another OFer....they aren't relying on health. I have no idea what this even means. They also brought in another SP....so, they aren't sitting around hoping, they added a TON of depth.
  3. Rumor is that Daniel Jones will sign a new deal paying At least $40 million a year!
  4. Here's the thing....he can languish in AAA as a starter, or make real money in the majors as a reliever
  5. No chance he should be a starter. Zero.
  6. I've always thought teams should get S that are too big, or LB that are too small, and use them to cover TE and blitz..... I don't follow the draft quite like I used to, just fix the D....
  7. Assuming they don't trade up for one of the three QBs I want, I want DL all day. A crazy great LBer is also good, at is a DB.... But that front needs talent.
  8. Because pitchers don't throw that slowly anymore.....not good to great ones. It's a different world than even 5 years ago.
  9. I'm all for darts on pitchers as much as possible that far into the draft! Looks like he has some stuff...
  10. Making me fly back in winter would be enough.....
  11. In fairness all three DBs they took got hurt.... One of those was predictable, but worth the shot, imo. I'm in the blow it up group, but in no way expect that
  12. Dodgers aren't even projected to win their division....
  13. Lots of people saying take a hitter... Are these the same people complaining about the pipeline? Or trading for pitchers!
  14. Nothing. They didn't sign him or keep Turner...
  15. Oh, sure, I wasn't suggested a 1:1 deal....just what I'd target in a deal.
  16. If his wrist is healed, he's probably a 2 - 2.5 WAR player. Not great, but above average. If his wrist isn't the only issue with his hitting last year, they'll need a new option.
  17. Because he's bad, and they let like 15 guys go to save money this off season, passing on all the great SS that only cost money. That said, I think this is a reload year for them for some reason, and they'll spend HUGE next year (ohtani and ?).
  18. He was actually good last year, even though he was used wrong. Frankly, given you want him rushing the QB every play, I don't get the 3-4 alignment, but I'm no technician.....I bet they keep both him and Zadarius. If 2 of the 3 injured DBs from last year's draft are even decent next year, the D looks very different with competent ILBs are using Hunter correctly. Very different.
  19. Gordon isn't a SS, but Farmer going there did immediately pop into my head. Dodgers have TWO catchers in the top 100 prospect list on Fangraphs, btw...... I don't see the Twins doing this, but I'd certainly consider it given their SS "depth" right now.
  20. Apparently the GM didn't mention either current starting ILB when talking options..... And was pretty clear Cook was not staying at this price
  21. Agreed. The only way you can deal him is for a LATE pick.....and even then, I doubt it.
