    I really like Julien, but this FO wanted him in AAA this year. He's only playing because polanco got hurt twice.

    The less I say about the mockery it turned into, the better. Royce is legit and Lopez was a great trade. That's the important parts for me.

    Also, just cut him open and operate is naive and ignores the fact it doesn't always work and he's a human, not some robot you can just cut up.

    There's nothing surprising about Jenkins continuing to play. Martin is healthy. That's the difference. He was a top pick and prospect for a reason. I'm intrigued by the catchers, but it's likely Vazquez blocks them next year no matter how bad he is.

    Massive bummer. I hope he does what's right for his long term health. Fans, as I saw in another thread, questioning his toughness are the worst people.

    I'm only trading him for a guy I think is a legit, young, starting pitcher, not just to clear space. They need pitching next year and the years after....

    My concern is that Martin and Lee will just sit in AAA, providing no value. As this FO and manager defer to veterans. Just like Wallner and Julien until injuries forced their hand.
