    Matt Wallner hit .173/.253/.387 off of lefthanded pitching in AAA with 4HR in 83 plate appearances. They probably avoided showing his 34 strikeouts against lefthanded pitchers (41% K) in the highlights.

    Correct, Martin was actually the "LH batting" half of the platoon before he got injured. They really don't need four LH hitting corner outfielders (Larnach, Kepler, Wallner, Kirilloff) on the roster, especially when Martin and Castro hit RHP just fine.

    Margot and Farmer and Kepler will all be gone next year at the latest which will be awesome since there will be nothing for anyone to complain about on Twins Daily.

    You've been noticing that it's really hard to make the RH guy a short-side guy all the time. Martin is still going to get plenty of at-bats against RHP even if he's always in the lineup against LHP.

    I expect pitch-for-a-while then injured-for-a-while is how Stewart spends the rest of his MLB career. I'd be shocked if he played an entire season without going on the IL.

    They really don't. Varland and Festa were both bad.

    Then there's Austin Martin who plays 2B and LF but doesn't have terrible platoon issues.

    Julien is sitting there as well. I do wonder how many of their current infielders will still be in the organization after the trade deadline. I expect to see position players traded off the roster to acquire pitching.

    There's the possibility they play Kansas City in the playoffs and that is a bad matchup for Ober. Pablo Lopez is not having a great season overall. There is room for another starter in the rotation.

    I like that Kikuchi gives them a different look for playoff matchups. This roster is weak for lefthanded pitching talent.

    If there aren't any good prospects left in the minors then the Twins shouldn't care a whole lot if they trade them away.

    We'll stop as soon as Woods-Richardson stops pitching well, which I hope is never. The key to a ROY season is putting it together for a whole season. We'll see if all the players you mentioned can sustain their success.

    I think Texas will be very motivated to shed $15M and get under the luxury tax. They can sell impending free agents Heaney, Lorenzen and Scherzer and still have Eovaldi, Gray, Mahle and deGrom for the rotation.

    Eovaldi would cost about $8M for the rest of the season. They should hope his $20M option vests because it is very tradeable even if they decide not to keep him.

    Kirby Yates is worth mentioning as well. It is no surprise that the defending champions have a lot of talent if they want to sell.

    Abstain, I only get to watch the nationally televised games.

    He's getting that based on a contract he signed years ago when he was performing better. The $4M the Twins are paying Margot is a much better indicator of his current market value.

    I don't think any reliever should be on the All-Star team. I'll make an exception for bad teams without an obvious representative and Mariano Rivera.

    About $8-12M per season because he can catch the ball.
