  1. Chris Vallimont is back in the org? I would have been less surprised to see him return as a coach than as an active player.
  2. I am enjoying watching Audra Martin get interrupted by home runs. She is a sure fire rally starter.
  3. Are the expensive seats right behind home plate some sort of all-you-can eat deal? I feel like I’m watching people at a Golden Corral buffet.
  4. Despite the gold glove award, Dozier was pretty average
  5. FYI - Emmanuel Rodriguez is 28.2 ft/s, Roden is 27.8 ft/s, Clemens 27.6 ft/s, Larnach 26.8 ft/s, Wallner 26.0 ft/s.
  6. Keaschall has an 11th percentile arm strength of 75.7 MPH. The worst outfielders in MLB are at 78 MPH. Jose Altuve throws 5MPH faster in LF than he does at 2B so Keaschall probably will as well. I still think his arm keeps him in LF. Keaschall’s sprint speed of 28.7 ft/sec would be very good for a left fielder but below the median in CF.
  7. A winning MLB roster needs at least two players who can field SS.
  8. Maybe they will be able to field a defense where the second baseman is above average. Was Orlando Hudson the last time that happened?
  9. Injuries have thinned out the supply of shortstops in the meantime.
  10. The season will be half over (81 games played) next Tuesday.
  11. “Graham Brown one-upped everybody by safely touching first all four times he stepped up to the plate. Did we mention this was his AAA debut? Or that he had never taken an at-bat above A-ball?” Looks like proof that any random A-ball player can crush in the high offense environment of AAA.
  12. Bell has an 808 OPS in June. He’s hitting right now. They aren’t going to bench him until he goes cold again.
  13. Fedko’s playing time will be determined somewhat by his defense. If he can catch the ball he will get more opportunities. They already have a full time DH.
  14. Fedko is hitting .250 vs RHP and .379 vs LHP in AAA. I am sure he is thrilled to come up and play in a platoon role. It gives him his best chance at success. Debuting at 26 means he already has a slim chance at a “decent sized” career.
  15. There is a blowout loss every week where he can sub into the outfield.
  16. Yes, I expect he will pinch hit for Larnach, Gray or Clemens at least once. Plus, there will be at least one bullpen fueled blowout loss where they can sub Fedko in during garbage time.
  17. Saw this on mlbtraderumors and thought it was worth cross posting Monkey’s Uncle June 14, 2026 Those of us who grew up in the Pittsburgh area might recognize the last name… Kyler’s father John was a longtime sports reporter on the local NBC affiliate known primarily for his weekly blooper/highlight reel called “The Fedko Zone”. And Kyler looks like a mini-version of John. Congrats to the whole family.
  18. They are not going to want to carry him on the 40-man in the offseason so he will not make MLB this season. I think we will see a whole new roster in Wichita after the draft.
  19. It has saved us about 300 articles on TwinsDaily speculating about when he would be traded this season and how much they would get in return.
  20. The catcher is calling the pitches with a button on his shin guard.
  21. Seems like he’s doing the right thing. The 2-6 batters aren’t nearly as good at driving in Byron Buxton as Byron Buxton is.
  22. Makes me wonder about the field conditions. A wet infield can easily cost the fielder a step of quickness.
