June 20 he started at 2nd then moved to LF. April 13, he started in CF then moved to 2nd. He has a total of 12 MLB innings at 2nd.

Agreed, but we don’t really know how this worked. MLB players getting through a 162 game schedule without aches and pains, and hurts is impossible, but the players play through them. how many of the playing through aches and pains are off nights at the plate, or 5 and fly start? It’s sometimes hard to tell where the threshold is.

I don’t understand. We won’t have both in 2025 why? Castro will be in his 3rd season of arbitration, Martin is in his rookie season.

I can’t imagine the Twins would trade him. His only value is utility and team control which is what the Twins prize most.

His hard hit rate is down, as is his pull rate, while his oppo rate is up. His fly ball rate is up, and he’s swinging at fewer pitches in the zone, while swinging at more pitches out of the zone. Usually when hitters are swing for the fences too much, they try to pull too many pitches and roll over the top. He’s going oppo more and getting more loft. he might benefit from trying to hit homers more
