    I grew up in the NY/NJ area back in the late 50's and 60's, and lived there thru the early 80's The Mets were my team as a kid. Seaver, Koosman, the Tugger. 1969 was a beautiful thing! Loved them and there's always a spot in my heart for them. Still follow the Mets even though I've lived in Mn since 82. I'm die hard Twins now, but that's the thing...I'm dying hard watching them.

    Just got home and I see the prevent offense seems to be working fine. Haven't even seen who's in the lineup. Only down 1-0. Did I miss anything?

    I'll be watching...but I have a feeling I won't be liking what I'm seeing.

    I'd say that Lopez and Ober absolutely give us a chance in any series, or playoff series...if we're fortunate enough to make it to the dance. The biggest problem is, we can't hit on any kind of consistent basis. If you don't put runs on the board, you don't win games.

    We should have won all 3 games, but instead we lost 2 of 3. More than likely, we somehow lose today too. It looks like the Tigers will be in front of us by this weekend. This team can find so many ways to lose games, that it's just amazing. This is an organization failure from the top to the bottom, and it's not going to change anytime soon. Sickening.
