  1. Please run. Kenya’s going to throw a bunch of 84 mph splitters.
  2. Understood. I don’t believe the Twins would risk it. I wish they would but I’m really skeptical.
  3. Nice play by Martin. Would love to see him thrive the rest of the season.
  4. As long as I’m asking questions anybody out there been to a game at Comerica? Looks like a nice ballpark.
  5. Missed the beginning. Miranda hit in the head? Did it look like he’s hurt or precautionary?
  6. This is spot on. If you are going to do something make a difference. Unfortunately the Twins will not risk the chance that he gets hurt and picks up the player option.
  7. I think it is a consequence of two things. First they favor bats over everything else in player valuation. So they tend to accumulate a lot of players who aren’t super athletic or good with the glove. Second they emulate the Rays in that they think even mediocre fielders can play multiple positions when they really aren’t that good at one position. Obviously the FO is smart enough to figure this stuff out but that is what they value. I just disagree with it.
  8. What was Martin doing at the fence?
  9. The whole team. The Twins are not consistently fundamentally sound. And it’s been that way for several years. As I’ve posted many times sometimes it costs them sometimes it doesn’t. It’s likely to cost them tonight.
  10. Well since they have played sloppy frequently over the last several years I don’t think it is going to be a wake up call.
  11. Santana is earning his money tonight.
  12. Left side of the infield has been less than stellar. Anyone can play anywhere right Chief?
  13. No doubt. Shouldn’t have been an issue.
  14. We just disagree. The ball was beat into the dirt in front of home plate and bounced twice more.
  15. Cool. I’m glad you got a kick out of it. Lee is as advertised from scouting reports: soft hands with a strong arm but not enough lateral quickness to be a big league SS.
  16. Great story. How does Rube Walberg even get discovered in Pine City at the turn of the century?
  17. I’m happy that he has put himself back in the conversation at least. Great story.
  18. With the payroll limitations I would say Miranda is the default answer. Julien and Kiriloff can battle it out to get some starts there and DH.
