    I think the reporting and fan base got way over their skis on this. This isn’t like selling a house where you no a qualified buyer is likely visiting soon. This transaction will be complicated and take a bunch of time and Thats is after a buyer is found willing to pay the Pohlads price. I don’t expect anything to happen soon so there really isn’t any point in writing or worrying about it until something substantial changes.

    This year is big for a bunch of guys including Miranda. All of Miranda Larnach Julien Martin Jeffers even Wallner and Lewis need to play well this year. Like Miranda they all have to hit because they are sub par fielders and slow runners (except Martin). It should be expected that several will take the next step and cement themselves as big leaguers and several will fall back and likely move on. Time will tell but we don’t know at this point. What is obvious is that Miranda better learn to control the strike zone in a hurry or he gone. One last thing: we can officially stop with the health excuses - the guy has been healthy for a while now.

    I cannot stand Attebery. He never shuts up and talks about nothing. Absolutely ruins the nuance of a ballgame

    How about this for a theory: the Twins don’t have many good hitters. I also think I see hitters with too much information swirling around in their heads. The net effect is they are guess hitters which used to be a pejorative term.

    It would be so Twins like to finally have a SS prospect with upside in Winokur and not let him play there. None of those other guys have anywhere the ceiling Winokur has.
