  1. Cruz funk pretty much hit when he left Minnesota, bring him back at trade time.
  2. You can believe that he will suddenly reach average but now there is nothing to support that, with a bunch of rookies now playing he is tail-end Charlie.
  3. He has had 39 at bats and so far the have all looked similar, you can have hope, against hope but that is not how it works in the Majors, they did that with Cave. I am not a fan of Larnach but he was humming right along with his bat, now he is in a funk but Kirilloff has not been even close to what Larnach was/or is.
  4. Yup, the majors are not where you can do badly till you are so bad they say good-bye, of course they did that with Jake Cave. Right now they are still a leading team, to let wishful thinking be part of reason they are no longer a leading team is silly.
  5. You learn in AAA, if the coaches are worth a dime, the Big Show is not for learning. How well he does with a month or two will show if he major league material; if he does well there over that time but comes back up and still does poorly, probably more like Jake Cave than anything. When Cave first came up he did real well but time showed not well enough.
  6. Lets see how Sano does with the Saints for rehab; he might do just as Kirilloff has done, exceed for the Saints and lousy for the Twins.
  7. Send him back down; he does great for the Saints and lousy for the Twins.
  8. Miranda's defense is not good, Kirilloff is batting at the same rate before he was sent down, Lewis -- tomorrow, tomorrow....
  9. When the Twins have a LOT of shut-outs against them, along with getting blown out with one or two runs, pitching is not the problem so many are trying to make it.
  10. Better pitcher, lousy defense, brilliant!
  11. Hmm, some whine about bad umpires while other snicker about catchers supposedly stealing strikes; maybe all those bad calls are just catchers pitch-framing. ?
  12. Hmm, a pitcher is only as good as his catcher, well then if we trade for a pitcher we will have to trade for a catcher also, brilliant.
  13. It looks like the bloom is off of Celestino's rose.
  14. Wishful thinking, not reality at this point; comparing Jeffers to past people is rationalizing at best and dissing past players at worst.. What they did has zip to do with Jeffers being a liability to this team, not some thing from the past.
  15. Kirilloff batting, hold your breath he doe not throw a bean-ball.
  16. https://sports.yahoo.com/home-run-rate-dizzying-pace-193223813.html I wonder if the baseball they use is that different from the Professional balls; they did go to flat seems in 2015.
  17. Maybe it is the center fielder curse that zapped a lot of Twins last year
  18. It is the booger yellow uniforms that are psyching out the Twins.
  19. Had Miranda let it go to Arraez, he may have been thrown out.
  20. None of whom have performed offensively and defensively, especially defense, as Kepler; good way to reduce the chance of winning by becoming a boarding school for AAA players.
  21. There is no such thing as luck, good and bad fortune, and that is of one's own making by doing, not doing any thing, your actions lead to your fortune whether it be that one bit of effort to make a extremely difficult catch, or swing at a ball because you are believe it will not be called a ball. You see, you analyze , you act, or do not act. Believing in luck is a fools folly.
  22. With their shut-out record the Twins are showing they need a strong defense BADLY; Miranda should be sent down to improve (learn) his defense now; How well Kiriloff will perform at Major League level is still a crap-shoot; Larnach still has a not strong, inaccurate arm but is Kirilloff better, now is the time to find out by sending Miranda down and bringing Kirilloff up to try at First and in the field. To wait until the Twins drop out of first place will be disaster; Arraez has so far been adequate at first but I still say his height is a problem waiting to strike.
  23. Rationalizing does not change the facts as they stand at this point, he cannot make the Yankees just another team and his Post Season is a Cluster- #.
  24. For those whose faith is in numbers, the fact the Twins lead the league in being shut-out should be large in their spread sheet minds.
