    How many years (decades) are you willing to wait? The Twins did what they did in 2019 with imported veterans, which is what they need now again.

    Baldelli has been another manager in the Gardenhire style; he can do well in the regular season but is a dud against the Yankees and post season. Can he become the next Tom Kelly? Ticket sales will determine if he stays around long enough to show one way or another.

    He shared a daily radio show up here with another curmudgeon, until ESPN destroyed KSTP radio station, and was interesting to listen to whether you agreed with him or not. He has forgotten more about sport than all but a few here know or will ever know , so I give him the respect he deserves.

    2nd base in the past was his one good fielding position, I wonder what happened since last year, not good numbers this year.

    Where does a player score most easily from; first, second or third on a long single/ To say it does not matter, by any one, is just plain silly.

    One because of poor base running and the other because the they were out of challenges. He is as close to a zero threat as a catcher can be at this point.

    We NEED his defense; do not know how good the rookies are, or may be, but for two years we have had a third, ss, second base combo that has saved the Twins from being worse than they were last year and help be as good as they are this year.

    Well Jeffers got two yesterday: one because the stupid head first slide seems to cause runners to over-slide and the second because the Rays were out of challenges. Not because of his ability.

    When Sano comes off of the IL, the Twins will show, or he will show, his future.

    Two years Rod Carew went against type and had double digit home runs; two of his best years, if only Arraez had stealing capability like Carew, Oliva and Tovar, he would be the direct successor to thier place in history.
